> How The Ambulance Game handles personal data on this website and in the iOS app.

## Who is responsible

Myrenget AS, org. no. 930 789 313 MVA, is the data controller for this website, the waitlist and test group, and The Ambulance Game iOS app.

## What we collect

When you join the waitlist or test group, we collect the email address you submit and which list you joined. For beta testing, we also keep the survey answers you supplied, your testing preferences, invitations, participation and feedback. These help us select small groups and improve the game.

## App feedback

If you send feedback from the iOS app, we receive the message you write and a short note of the app and iOS version. We email that to ourselves through Resend and do not add it to the waitlist. The app contacts our server only when you send feedback. If sending fails, you can email the same note instead; we then also receive the address you send it from.

## Case drafts

If you send a case through the form on the case page, your answers are stored in Google Forms and Google Sheets. You can instead download the same questions as a spreadsheet and email the file; we then receive the file and the address you send it from. Your name and email address are optional on the form. We use the answers to read the case and do not add you to the waitlist. The patient must be fictional: no real name, call or phone number.

## Abuse protection

When you join the waitlist or test group, or send feedback from the app, our server uses your IP address to limit how many requests one address can make in 10 minutes. The address is held only in the server’s memory, for the 10-minute window after your last request, and is dropped the next time the same service handles a request after that. The limit does not store it anywhere else, pass it on or link it to your email address or feedback.

## How we use it

We use your email address to manage the waitlist and to send information about the game’s launch and related updates. If you join the test group, we also use it for testing invitations and requests for feedback.

We keep it while those launch updates remain relevant, or until you ask us to remove it.

We keep app feedback until it has been followed up, and case drafts while we work on the case; name and email are removed from the draft when the case is finished.

## Legal basis

The waitlist and test group rest on the consent you give when you join; you can withdraw it at any time. Reading feedback and case drafts, abuse protection and site measurement rest on our legitimate interest in developing and running the game safely.

## Service providers and storage

Website signups and confirmation emails are handled through Resend. Testing questionnaires use Google Forms and Google Sheets. Selected beta contacts and their answers are imported into a private Supabase database operated by Myrenget AS. Only authorised administrators can access the tester roster. You can ask us to stop testing invitations or remove your tester information using the contact address below.

## Where the data is processed

Resend, Vercel and Google are US companies, so the data may be processed outside the EU/EEA. Transfers rest on the providers’ data processing agreements with the EU standard contractual clauses.

## Hosting and measurement

Vercel hosts this site. We use [Vercel Web Analytics](https://vercel.com/docs/analytics) and [Speed Insights](https://vercel.com/docs/speed-insights) to understand site usage and performance.

## Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, to restrict how we use it, or to get it in a machine-readable format. You can also object to the processing and withdraw your consent at any time. Updates we send to the waitlist and test group include an unsubscribe link. Write to the address below.
